Our school year runs from early September through late June. Applications for the coming school year are due on May 1st, Students are notified by June 1st of placement. Enrollment priority is given to siblings of existing children. A wait list is available for mid-year openings.
Criteria for Admissions
A student is admitted to RBA following a favorable review process of former records. Included in this review are placement tests, grades, academic progress and conduct review. All new students are required to take entrance tests prior to acceptance and are accepted on a six week trial basis. A consultation with the parent(s) will take place to ensure understanding and agreement with school philosophy.
Conduct Criteria
Spiritual Criteria
Students who have unsatisfactory condct records, overt behavior problems, or have been suspended or expelled will not normally be considered for admission at our school. Student's who have habitually used drugs, alcohol, tobacco or pornography will not be considered for admission. Student's and parents must be in agreement with the conduct standards of this school and agree to abide by them.
The overall program of RBA operates within the framework of the Biblical philosophy and doctrinal position of RBC. Parents who are members of RBC are required to be aware of the school's doctrinal position and be of like-minded faith so as to avoid potential conflict between home, church, and school. Student's are expected to maintain regular attendance at RBC or, occasionally we will accept someone from a Bible believing church of like faith. A Pastor's recommendation is required each year for each student from another church. Parent's are expected to uphold the objectives, values, rules, and purpose of the school.
A student will be admitted on the basis of successful completion of the previous grade, and satisfactory scores on the admissions exams. In addition, RBA requires students to meet a conduct and spiritual criteria for admission.
Regency Baptist Academy also holds both a conduct criteria for admissions as well as a spiritual criteria for admissions.
